I am usually not eager to accept adult students in my studio at World of Music and Arts in Richmond BC, since there could be a lot of issues later on. For instance, unlike children, adult students have nobody to supervise them in terms of regular practising and attending their lessons. I can foresee potential cancellations and missed lessons, which for me means irregular schedule and difficulty in creating a lesson plan.
Having said that, I enjoy immensely working with dedicated adult piano student who already achieved advanced level. I look forward to the exchange of the interpretational ideas and a discussion about different stylistic solutions for a musical composition.
